“If you like beautiful plants and flowers Compton Acres is worth a visit. Pretty scenery, a lovely big gift shop and excellent coffee.”

Jane (Poole)

“It may not be the biggest of gardens, but there are many different areas to explore. From the formal gardens around the Italian Villa to the Japanese garden, there are a good variety of plants to see. The little bridges, steps across water and windy paths make it interesting for younger children. The entrance fee is just about right and a stop over at the café (with views across Poole Harbour) for tea and cake is lovely.”

Andres (Bournemouth)

“A little gem!
A really pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in various themed gardens.
Two very popular and clean tea/coffee/cake areas.”
